I'll be the first to admit it, but I'm not great at video games. On the Hey Arnold The Movie Game Boy game, I didn't even pass level 1! But hey, I read the instruction booklet, so that counts! Anyway, I'm here to tell you about this game, so let's get started!

This game is like other games from Game Boy. You have a misson(s), there are different levels, there are obstacles along the way, there are things to collect for optional bonus points, etc. Hey Arnold The Movie Game Boy Advance game has all of those things and more. Your misson in each area is different. In the areas there are a certain number of levels. In one area, you have to find Arnold's friends. In another, you have to hand out flyers to the mailboxes in Arnold's neighborhood. There are obstacles that can make you lose lives which can reduce your chances of winning the game (and that would be an absolute tradgedy!!!!!!!!!). You can lose a life by falling off buildings, by being knocked out because of a football falling on your head too much, and by running into Sheck's guards. Sheck is your enemy. He wants to tear down Arnold's neighborhood and turn it into a HUGE mall (so stay a way from those guards!)! If you lose three lives, you have to start on the level you were currently on again. You can also earn bonus points by collecting floating footballs on your missions.

I didn't like that this game was hard to transition from level to level because some instructions were unclear. It was also hard to get past simple things like jumping from building to building in the first level!

I would recommend this game to kids who like Hey Arnold The Movie, kids who like a challenge and to kids who haven't seen the movie because this game is just like it. I hope you enjoy the game! See you at the video game store!!!! (November, 2002)
